Photographs of Dr. Feng Shan Ho

These photographs depict the ceremony at Yad Vashem: The World Holocaust Remembrance Center on January 23, 2001, in Jerusalem, Israel, in which Dr. Ho was honored by the state of Israel as Righteous Among the Nations. It was my great honor to work with the Ho family in researching the rescue activities of Dr. Ho in Vienna, Austria.

I am especially indebted to Dr. Monto Ho for all of his help in gathering historic information on his father. His translation of Dr. Ho’s memoirs, My Forty Years as a Diplomat, was immensely helpful in preparing the nomination for Yad Vashem. Also thank you to the many Ho survivors who provided testimony and copies of their records.
